The Systems Biology focus group at ISU consists of faculty and students from biology, mathematics, statistics, and computer science who engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research in biology from a genome perspective.

High performance computing lies at the heart of Systems Biology since it typically involves the combinatorics of combining data in different innovative ways.
