P2: Development of a Medicago truncatula genome browser

Title: Development of a Medicago truncatula genome browser
Mentors: Matthew Wilkerson and Dr. Volker Brendel
Description: The intern(s) will work with graduate students in our group to build MtGDB, a genome browser for Medicago (a legume being completely sequenced) modeled after our existing resources for Arabidopsis (AtGDB)and rice (OsGDB). The project encompasses both automated genome annotation (finding the genes in BAC-size Medicago genome sequences) and modifying the AtGDB/OsGDB genome browsers to fit the Medicago needs.
